Welcome to the Department of Regional Development and Lands.

The Department of Regional Development and Lands (RDL) was formed on 1 July 2009, combining key areas to bring a new focus to regional Western Australia.

The department brings together the State Land Services and Pastoral Land Services from the former Department for Planning and Infrastructure and Regional Development and Major Regional Projects from the former Department of Local Government and Regional Development. New divisions have also been established for the Community Resource Centre Network and the Ord-East Kimberley Expansion Project.

The department has six divisions and an Office of the Director General. The divisions are: Lands; Major Regional Projects (Royalties for Regions); Ord-East Kimberley Expansion Project; Community Resource Centre Network, Regional Development Policy and Operations, and Corporate Services.

We are developing a new website but have provided links to key information and different aspects of our business through links on this page.

We hope you will continue to visit this site to find out more about what is happening as the work progresses.
